FASTeco Mobility, Ethiopia's pioneer shared electric scooter mobility company, is seeking a highly competent, proactive, and results-oriented Part-Time Legal Professional to provide strategic legal support and ensure the company's operations comply with all applicable Ethiopian laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic legal advice to management on corporate, commercial, employment, and operational matters.
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, policies, and other legal documents.
Ensure the company remains compliant with Ethiopian laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions to protect the company's interests.
Handle legal correspondence and support dispute resolution, claims, and litigation when required.
Represent or coordinate with the company before government institutions, regulatory authorities, and external legal counsel.
Conduct legal research and provide timely recommendations on new laws and regulatory changes affecting the business.
Support corporate governance, employment matters, intellectual property, and commercial transactions.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university.
Valid professional license or legal practice credentials, where applicable.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in corporate, commercial, employment, contract, or business law.
Demonstrated experience advising private companies on contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian commercial, labor, and business laws.
Excellent legal drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and provide practical business-focused legal solutions.
High integrity, sound judgment, and exceptional attention to detail.
