Vacancy Announcement – Human Resources Manager

Position: Human Resources Manager

Department: Human Resources

Location: Assela, Oromia Region, Ethiopia

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the company’s

HR function, oversee employee relations and recruitment, and ensure effective

workforce management and compliance with Ethiopian labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead and manage the overall Human Resources function.

● Develop and implement effective HR policies, procedures, and strategies.

● Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, talent management and

workforce planning.

● Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workplace

issues.

● Establish and monitor employee performance management and appraisal

systems.

● Oversee employee training, development, succession planning and career

progression programs.

● Manage HR records, attendance, leave, and other personnel matters.

● Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and relevant regulations.

● Prepare and present HR reports, workforce analysis, and recommendations to

management.

● Lead and supervise the HR team and ensure effective delivery of HR services.

Qualifications & Experience

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business

Administration, Management, or a related field.

● Minimum 7 –10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a

managerial or leadership position.

● Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and HR best practices.

● Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or large-scale organization

is highly preferred.

● Proven experience in utilizing ERP systems for human resources management

and administration is an added advantage.

● Fluency in English, Amharic and Afan Oromo; knowledge of additional

languages is an advantage.
