Job Description

Job Title: Video Editor and Content Creator

Department: Marketing

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative Video Editor and Content Creator to produce engaging, high-impact video content for social media, collaborating with marketing and content teams to deliver brand-aligned visuals.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit social-first short and long-form videos for major platforms and ads
Collaborate on content ideas and campaign concepts
Optimize videos for each platform’s specs
Enhance visuals with subtitles, effects, music, and graphics
Follow trends, manage assets in ERPNext/cloud, and deliver content on schedule

Required Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years as a video editor, with a portfolio that showcases social media content.
Tools: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of what works on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, etc.
Creativity: Strong visual storytelling skills with a keen eye for pacing, aesthetics, and audio sync.
Speed & Quality: Comfortable producing quick turnaround videos without compromising quality.
Bonus: Experience with motion graphics or basic graphic design is a plus.
Work Style: Self-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and in collaboration with a team.

Working Conditions:

Work Environment: Based at AddisFly HQ in Addis Ababa, with occasional travel for shoots or collaborations.
Schedule: Full-time during standard hours, with possible evening or weekend work during peak campaign periods.
Tools & Access: Work with high-spec equipment and use AddisFly’s ERP system to manage tasks and update project statuses.
