Azmud Bakehouse is a new but swiftly growing family bakery with products and techniques adopted from European and American baking styles. Serving high quality and unique products, our customers know and expect the high quality standards that they have come to love.

We are looking for a:
• Pastry chef/sous-pastry chef
Requirements:
• atleast 3 years experience in a well known pastry shop
• English level: intermediate (read, write, speak fluently)
• Exposure to different pastry styles and products
• Open minded, ready to learn
• Quick learner
• Punctual
• Transparent, loyal
• Fast
• Able to do the following tasks

What you will be doing:
- read and understand recipes, calculate needed ingredients and measure accurately using measuring scale and measuring spoons and cups, prepare batter accurately, make cookie dough, weigh batter, bake sponges and cookies, take out and store properly, make buttercream, flavour buttercream, fill and stack cakes, crumb coat and (smoothly) final coat cakes, make fillings and syrup,...
- keep work surroundings clean
- manage inventory
- assist the head pastry chef
- Be careful and mindful when working with sensitive, dietary products (gluten-free, sugar-free,...)
