Bright Techno Tonic is building an advanced digital ecosystem of virtual cities delivering services in education, legal support, mental wellness, language learning, and more. As a fast-growing tech platform, we need forward-thinking leadership to drive innovation and scalability.

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead our overall technology strategy, guide the development of virtual city platforms, and ensure that our systems remain secure, efficient, and future ready. This role goes beyond traditional IT oversight—shaping the technological vision that powers our digital ecosystem.

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Technology Leadership:

1.1. Develop and implement a technology roadmap aligned with the company’s vision and business objectives.

1.2. Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in virtual environments, integrating them into the company's strategy.

1.3. Lead the design and development of virtual city platforms to ensure they are user-friendly, scalable, and feature-rich.

1.4. Drive innovation by incorporating advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, and blockchain to enhance the virtual city experience.

2. Infrastructure Management:

2.1. Oversee the development and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and efficiency.

2.2. Ensure the integration of robust cybersecurity measures to protect both company and client data.

3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

3.1. Work closely with the Chief Cities Officer (CCO) to receive updates on virtual city features, infrastructure, and operational requirements.

3.2. Implement system updates and technology solutions based on feedback from the CCO and other department heads.

3.3. Participate in executive decision-making meetings to align technology initiatives with company-wide strategies.

3.4. Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer and other executives to ensure that technology initiatives support business needs.

3.5. Act as a technical liaison with partners, investors, and stakeholders to communicate the company’s technological capabilities and goals.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

4.1. Build and manage a high-performing technology team, including software engineers, developers, and IT specialists.

4.2. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation within the technology department.

4.3. Plan and manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

4.4. Evaluate and negotiate with technology vendors and service providers.

4.5. Ensure thorough testing and quality assurance processes for all technology solutions.

5. Administrative Actions:

5.1. Take appropriate administrative actions as needed to ensure efficiency, compliance, and smooth operation within the department.

5.2. Discuss contract terminations with the Legal and Administrative Services and the Chief Cities Officer.

Qualifications:

BA Degree and Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent education or professional experience

3-5 years of relevant work experience in an IT company

Proven experience in technology leadership roles, ideally in software development or virtual technologies.

A strong track record of developing and implementing technology strategies that support business growth.

Expertise in virtual city platforms, cloud computing and emerging digital technologies.

Visionary leadership with a focus on innovation.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Extensive technical knowledge of programming languages, system architecture, and software development methodologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for sales and business development
