Job Summary

Oblik Studio looking for a talented digital illustrator and character painter to join our children's educational project. The selected artist will help create attractive, child-friendly, and culturally relevant illustrations for an interactive children's educational project.

The work includes designing and painting characters, environments, objects, and book page illustrations that are suitable for children.

Main Responsibilities

· Create original digital illustrations for children’s educational projects.

· Design and paint characters with clear expressions and personalities.

· Develop Ethiopian-inspired environments, classroom scenes, family settings, animals, and learning objects.

· Prepare illustrations based on provided scripts, page layouts, and story directions.

· Work with the creative team to revise characters and scenes based on feedback.

· Maintain a consistent illustration style across different sections.

· Prepare clean digital files ready for production.

Required Skills

· Strong digital illustration and character painting skills.

· Ability to draw children-friendly characters, animals, and educational scenes.

· Good understanding of color, composition, expression, and storytelling.

· Experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, or similar tools.

· Ability to follow creative direction and meet deadlines.

· Experience in children’s books, animation, comics, or educational content is an advantage.
