We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the organization’s financial operations by ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial management. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and maintaining financial records to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and reporting standards
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records
Support payroll processing and statutory deductions where applicable
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
