Job Title: YouTube Shorts Editor

Job Type: Remote – Freelance

Location: Remote (based in Addis Ababa preferred)

Salary: 7,000 ETB/month

Description

We are looking for a creative and reliable YouTube Shorts Editor to turn long-form interviews and podcasts into engaging short-form content.

You will be responsible for identifying the most compelling moments and transforming them into videos that capture attention and keep viewers watching.

Responsibilities

Edit YouTube Shorts from long-form content

Cut engaging highlights from interviews/podcasts

Add subtitles, sound effects, and clean transitions

Follow content style and structure

Expectations

Deliver videos consistently and on time

Maintain high attention to detail in every edit

Select clips that are engaging, clear, and impactful

Be responsive and open to feedback

Requirements

Basic to intermediate editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.)

Understanding of short-form content trends

Good communication and time management

Ability to work independently
