On behalf of our client, Repi-Wilmar, we are looking for a qualified and experienced candidate for the following position:
Position: Procurement Head – Packaging Materials
Location: Addis Ababa
Number of Positions: One (1)

Job Summary:
The Procurement Head – Packaging Materials will oversee the end-to-end procurement process for packaging materials, both local and international. The role focuses on achieving optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and effective supplier management.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, source, and manage procurement of packaging materials to meet production and cost targets.
Oversee import and local sourcing activities, ensuring optimal TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and on-time delivery.
Evaluate and develop suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to quality and ethical standards.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth material flow and timely payments.
Manage procurement documentation, reporting, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Support product development initiatives related to packaging materials.
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
Education: BA Degree or higher in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Transport Management, Business Management, Accounting, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a senior procurement or category management role, preferably in the FMCG sector.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Excellent command of English and proficiency in ERP systems, preferably in SAP.
