Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer to join our team. As a Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various engineering projects on-site. Your expertise and knowledge will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision: Supervise daily construction activities, inspect workmanship, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.

Quality Control: Review method statements and material submissions; ensure all materials and works meet technical specifications.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed daily/weekly site reports, photographic documentation, inspections, approvals. and proper records of site instructions,

Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and structural/architectural teams for interface-related works.

Safety Compliance: Ensure the contractor adheres to all health, safety, and environmental standards.

Contract Management: Identify potential deviations from the project plan and assist in resolving technical conflicts.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Education: BSc Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology & Management (COTM), or a related field.

Experience: Minimum [5-10] years of proven experience in site supervision, with at least [2-5] years as a Resident Engineer.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, CAD software, MS Project and Microsoft Office.

Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with FIDIC or EPPA contract conditions is highly preferred.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication (written and spoken), leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
