STEM & Robotics Trainer (Grades 9–12)

Positions Available: 12

(Senior STEM Trainers, Junior STEM Trainers, Computer Trainers, Electronics Trainers)

Our institution is expanding its PLiet-based STEM program modeled after Malaysian and international standards. We are recruiting skilled and passionate STEM & Robotics Trainers who can support students in grades 9–12 through hands-on learning, project-based tasks, and preparation for international-level STEM and robotics training.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality lessons in STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) using practical demonstrations, project-based learning, and real-world applications.

Prepare students for international STEM, robotics, and technical training programs, including competitions, lab sessions, and skill demonstrations.

Guide students in hands-on activities such as electronics assembly, coding practice, mechanical builds, engineering projects, and digital design.

Support students in understanding training requirements, safety protocols, and performance standards expected in international platforms.

Develop lesson plans, training modules, manuals, and assessment tools aligned with Malaysian STEM structure and international TVET competency standards.

Supervise workshops and labs to ensure a safe, organized, and supportive learning environment.

Track and document student performance, attendance, training progress, and competency development.

Collaborate with other trainers to design interdisciplinary STEM projects and maintain consistent training quality.

Provide technical mentorship and support during practical sessions, prototype building, and robotics tasks.

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and curriculum improvement sessions.

Ensure strict compliance with institutional procedures, ethical standards, and mandatory wearing of company uniform throughout duty hours.

Maintain equipment, tools, computers, robotics kits, and training materials in proper working condition.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Applicants must hold a degree from one of the following fields:

Electrical Engineering

Electronics Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Electromechanical Engineering

Computer Engineering

Computer Science

Information Technology

Software Engineering

Or related STEM discipline

Minimum Work Experience

Junior Trainers: At least 0–2 years of relevant academic, lab, or project experience.

Senior Trainers: Minimum 3 years of teaching, lab instruction, STEM training, technical support, or engineering practice.

Experience in robotics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, coding, electronics, or engineering projects is an added advantage.

Required Technical Skills

Strong foundation in STEM principles relevant to your specialty.

Ability to facilitate hands-on training in robotics, electronics, coding, mechanical systems, or digital technologies.

Knowledge of project-based learning and competency-based training approaches.

Familiarity with tools, lab equipment, and safety standards used in STEM workshops.
