We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure accurate reporting, and support the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will handle budgeting, tax compliance, and financial analysis to support decision-making and business growth.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly
Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and regulations (VAT, income tax, withholding tax, etc.)
Prepare and submit tax reports on time
Manage payroll processing and employee financial records
Track expenses related to imports, exports, logistics, and operations
Work closely with management to provide financial insights and reports
Support audits and provide required financial documentation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 3 years accounting experience preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience with accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, Excel)
Good understanding of Ethiopian tax systems and business regulations
