We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly organized Senior Accountant to join our team and support the company's financial operations and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
• Record and monitor daily sales transactions accurately and timely.
• Record and manage daily operational expenses and maintain proper documentation.
• Reconcile bank transfers, bank statements, and company accounts regularly.
• Control and monitor customer and supplier credit accounts
• Manage and monitor petty cash transactions and prepare periodic petty cash reports.
• Prepare financial statements and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
• Support annual closing activities and external or internal audits.
• Provide management with financial analyses and recommendations to support business decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in accounting and finance.
• Previous work experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and account reconciliation.
• Experience in handling daily sales recording, expense management, credit control, and petty cash management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Knowledge of Peachtree, Sage, or other accounting software is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
