𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operation Support Officer to support Starpay’s merchant operations. This role involves assisting with merchant onboarding, providing daily support to merchants and partners, monitoring transactions, resolving operational issues, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate should be able to multitask, handle time-sensitive tasks, and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high accuracy and service quality.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

Merchant Onboarding: Assist in reviewing documents, setting up merchant accounts, and ensuring smooth integration with payment systems.
Daily Support: Respond to merchant and partner inquiries via email, calls, or messaging platforms, providing guidance on transactions and system usage.
Transaction Monitoring: Track daily merchant transaction activity, identify unusual patterns, and escalate issues to the relevant teams.
Issue Resolution: Coordinate with internal teams (technical, finance, reconciliation) to investigate and resolve operational issues quickly.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records of onboarding activities, support requests, and operational incidents; assist in preparing simple operational reports.
Process Improvement: Participate in team discussions, identify recurring issues, and suggest ways to improve operational workflows.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬

Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field (Business, IT, Finance, or related preferred).
Experience: 1–2 years in operations, customer support, fintech, banking, or any relevant field.
Experience in finance or payments operations is an advantage, but not required.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive tasks.
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of Excel and reporting tools is an advantage.
