Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Night Shift Electrician to maintain our critical power systems. This role is vital for ensuring the continuous operation of our electrical infrastructure after hours, with a focus on emergency power, generators, and UPS systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including generators, UPS/inverters, batteries, and EEUs.
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on automatic transfer switches and power distribution equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance, including generator load tests and battery system inspections.
Respond immediately to electrical alarms and system failures to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate logs of all inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Adhere strictly to all
NECE (National Electro Technical Committee of Ethiopia (NECE) | ethiostandards) OHS (Occupational Health and Safety | MINISTRY OF HEALTH - Ethiopia) and company safety protocols.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Technology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial/industrial electrical maintenance.
Proven experience with the maintenance and repair of generators, UPS systems, and battery banks.
Strong understanding of the
NECE (National Electro Technical Committee of Ethiopia (NECE) | ethiostandards) OHS (Occupational Health and Safety | MINISTRY OF HEALTH - Ethiopia) safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Ability to work independently during night shifts.
