Operations Management

Oversee end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics
Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines
Monitor workflow and implement improvements to optimize efficiency

2. Team Leadership & Supervision

Lead, train, and manage plant staff including supervisors, engineers, and operators
Foster a positive work environment and maintain high employee morale
Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development

3. Production Planning & Control

Develop and implement production schedules based on demand forecasts
Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure material availability
Minimize downtime and production disruptions

4. Quality Assurance

Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
Implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures
Address and resolve production quality issues promptly

5. Health, Safety & Compliance

Enforce strict adherence to workplace safety regulations and policies
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, environmental standards, and company policies

6. Cost Management

Monitor and control operational costs and budgets
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Optimize resource utilization (labor, materials, equipment)

7. Maintenance & Equipment Management

Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and equipment
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
Plan for equipment upgrades and capital investments

8. Continuous Improvement

Implement lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives
Analyze performance data and KPIs to drive efficiency
Promote innovation and best practices across operations

9. Reporting & Coordination

Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance
Collaborate with other departments such as sales, finance, and HR
Ensure clear communication across all levels of the organization
