We are seeking a highly competent Accountant with strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, excellent accounting skills, and the ability to support management, including serving as an assistant to the GM.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with Ethiopian tax regulations
Prepare and file tax submissions and support during audits (as required)
Maintain regular follow-up and visits to tax and government offices
Prepare financial reports and financial analysis
Work with accounting tools/software and maintain organized financial records
Handle payments and support processes with banks, maintaining strong relationships
Support the GM with finance-related tasks and administrative follow-ups
Provide clear communication to management and relevant stakeholders

Required Qualifications & Skills

Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong understanding of Ethiopian tax laws
Familiarity with accounting tools/software (e.g., QuickBooks/Excel/ERP—specify if needed)
Excellent communication skills and professionalism
Ability to build and maintain good relationships with banks
Willingness to visit tax and government offices regularly
Good instruction, organization, and strong sense of teamwork
Ability to assist the GM when needed
