Senior Storekeeper (Video Production Equipment)

Our Company seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Storekeeper to manage all video production equipment and inventory operations. This role is critical in ensuring that all production gear is properly tracked, maintained, and readily available for ongoing and upcoming projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with professional video equipment and a strong understanding of production workflows. You will work closely with cameramen, producers, and technical teams to support smooth and efficient production processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

➢ Maintain a complete and up-to-date inventory of all production equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, audio gear, rigs, and accessories.
➢ Implement and manage a reliable check-in/check-out system to track equipment usage and movement.
➢ Prepare, pack, and issue equipment for daily shoots based on production schedules and requirements.
➢ Inspect all returned equipment for damage, loss, or technical issues and report accordingly.
➢ Perform routine equipment checks, basic troubleshooting, and ensure all gear is in working condition.
➢ Coordinate with vendors or technicians for repair, servicing, and maintenance.
➢ Organize storage spaces to ensure safe, clean, and efficient equipment handling.
➢ Maintain proper labeling, categorization, and documentation of all assets.
➢ Monitor stock levels of consumables (batteries, cables, storage media, etc.) and request replenishment when needed.
➢ Work closely with production teams to forecast equipment needs for upcoming projects.
➢ Enforce accountability and proper handling procedures among staff using equipment.
➢ Generate regular inventory reports and support audits when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

➢ Minimum 3+ years of experience in storekeeping, preferably in media, broadcasting, or production environments.
➢ Strong knowledge of professional video production equipment (cameras, lighting, audio systems, accessories).
➢ Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
➢ High attention to detail and accuracy in tracking assets.
➢ Basic technical skills for handling and identifying equipment issues.
➢ Experience with inventory systems, asset tracking tools, or spreadsheets (Excel).
➢ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple equipment requests simultaneously.
➢ Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and reliability.
➢ Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

➢ Experience working in TV stations, production houses, or film environments.
➢ Familiarity with equipment booking or asset management software.
➢ Basic troubleshooting or technical repair knowledge.
➢ Understanding of production schedules and workflow coordination.
