EFTA Manufacturing is a growing furniture company based in Addis Ababa. We design, manufacture, and deliver quality furniture for the B2C market, while also growing our B2B project work and strengthening our internal systems for long-term scale.

We are looking for an experienced Odoo ERP Implementation Specialist / Expert to lead the setup and implementation of Odoo for our business.

About the Role

The specialist will be responsible for setting up Odoo in a practical, structured, and business-focused way. Our management team and department heads will support the specialist by providing business information, current workflows, required data, and timely decisions.

This is not just a software installation role. We need someone who can understand how the business operates, design the right ERP structure, configure the system, guide implementation, train users, and help ensure Odoo becomes a usable operating system for daily management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full Odoo setup and implementation process
Review current workflows across sales, production, inventory, purchasing, finance, and operations
Recommend the right Odoo modules, implementation sequence, and system structure
Configure Odoo based on EFTA's business needs
Set up users, access rights, approval flows, workflows, and reporting structure
Lead data preparation and migration with support from our team
Set up practical workflows for sales orders, inventory, purchasing, production, delivery, and accounting coordination
Configure dashboards, reports, and management visibility tools
Train management and staff on how to use the system properly
Provide clear documentation, user guides, and handover materials
Provide post-launch support and adjustments after we go live
Help ensure Odoo is adopted as a real operating system, not just installed software

Required Qualifications

Proven experience leading Odoo ERP implementation projects
Strong understanding of Odoo modules such as Sales, Inventory, Purchase, Manufacturing, Accounting, CRM, and Reporting
Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into practical ERP workflows
Strong functional configuration skills in Odoo
Ability to manage implementation stages, timelines, documentation, and user training
Strong communication skills and ability to work with management and department teams
Clear understanding of user adoption, staff training, and post-launch support

Preferred Qualifications

Experience implementing Odoo for manufacturing, furniture, retail, or inventory-based businesses
Experience with Ethiopian business, accounting, tax, or inventory context
Ability to customize Odoo where necessary without overcomplicating the system
Experience with Odoo Manufacturing, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, Accounting, and POS/CRM modules
Ability to work on-site when needed

Implementation plan and timeline
Recommended Odoo module setup
Configured Odoo system for agreed business areas
User roles, permissions, and approval structure
Clean workflows for sales, inventory, purchasing, production, delivery, and accounting coordination
Imported or organized starting data where applicable
Dashboards and basic management reports
Staff training sessions
User documentation/guides
Go-live support and post-launch adjustments
Final handover of system structure and documentation

Contract Details

Engagement type: Contractual / project-based
Duration: To be discussed based on implementation scope
Location: Addis Ababa, with on-site involvement as needed
Compensation: Negotiable based on project scope
