About LIYU TECHNOLOGIES PLC

LIYU TECHNOLOGIES PLC is a domestic worker-household matchmaking platform based in Addis Ababa. We verify domestic workers and households and support safe, trial-based placements. Liyu does not employ domestic workers.

Role Summary

We are hiring two Field Operations Associates (1 female, 1 male) to support worker registration, verification, and field data collection during our pilot phase.

This is a field-based role with regular community interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Register domestic workers in the field
Verify basic documents (ID and background details)
Conduct short, respectful interviews
Clearly explain Liyu’s service to workers
Submit accurate registration data and daily updates
Coordinate with the Operations Lead

Requirements

Based in Addis Ababa
Minimum education: Completed Grade 12
Fluent in Amharic (required)
Basic English reading and writing
Comfortable with field work
Basic smartphone skills
Trustworthy and organized

Experience in NGO fieldwork, surveys, or community work is a plus.

Compensation

Fixed stipend plus performance-based incentives based on verified field registrations.
