Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing bookkeeping activities, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. The successful candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update the company's financial records and bookkeeping systems.
Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Monitor cash flow and report any discrepancies or irregularities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in bookkeeping practices and accounting software.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
