We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support the organization’s financial operations by maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting in reporting and budgeting processes.The Accountant is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, transaction recording, and documentation management to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Record financial transactions in Peachtree
Prepare payment vouchers and receipt documentation
Maintain accounts receivable and payable records
Prepare bank reconciliation statements
Support payroll processing
Maintain proper filing and document control systems
Assist in stock and asset recording
Support financial reporting processes

Qualifications and Requirements

BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 2 years relevant experience
Basic knowledge of Ethiopian tax system
Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting Software and Microsoft suites
Good communication skills in Amharic and English
Strong attention to detail
