Duty Station: Bole, Addis Ababa

Job Summary

The Light Vehicle Driver is responsible for safely transporting staff, documents, and materials to designated locations in a timely and professional manner. The role ensures proper vehicle maintenance, compliance with traffic regulations, and adherence to company transport policies.

Key Responsibilities

Safely drive company light vehicles to transport employees, visitors, and materials as assigned.
Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of staff and official guests.
Deliver and collect documents, parcels, and other items as required.
Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle at all times.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, water, tire pressure, brakes, etc.) before operation.
Report mechanical issues, accidents, or damages immediately to the supervisor.
Ensure vehicle documents (insurance, registration, inspection certificate) are valid and up to date.
Keep accurate vehicle logbooks, mileage records, and fuel consumption reports.
Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company transport policies.
Assist with minor administrative or logistics duties when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum of Grade 12 completion (higher education is an advantage).
Valid Light Vehicle Driving License.
Minimum 2–3 years of proven driving experience in a company setting.
Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
Good communication skills and professional conduct.
Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and integrity.
