Job Overview

NunaTech Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. The candidate will assist with daily accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and support the overall financial operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Record and update daily financial transactions
Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and reconciliations
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Perform or assist with regular periodic reporting to the Ministry of Revenue (MoR) Ethiopia, including VAT, payroll tax, and related documentations
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Support monthly and yearly closing processes
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards
Coordinate with stakeholders for financial clarifications
Provide support during audits

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
0–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information
