Job Description

Job Title: Storekeeper
Job Summary:
The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and recording goods and materials in the store to ensure accurate inventory and proper stock control.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect goods for quality and quantity
Record all incoming and outgoing items accurately
Issue materials as per authorized requests
Maintain proper storage, labeling, and cleanliness of the store
Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies
Monitor stock levels and inform management when reordering is needed
Ensure safe handling and storage of items
Prepare daily or monthly stock reports
Requirements & Qualifications:
Diploma or certificate in storekeeping, logistics, accounting or related field
Previous experience as a storekeeper is preferred
Basic computer and record-keeping skills
Honest, organized, accountable and detail-oriented
Ability to work
