Job Title: Accountant – Car Sales Shop

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the daily operations of our car sales business. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail or automotive accounting and be comfortable handling inventory, sales tracking, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

*Record daily sales transactions (cash, bank, and financing deals)

*Manage accounts payable and receivable

Track vehicle inventory costs and sales margins

*Reconcile bank statements and company accounts

*Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

*Handle payroll and commissions for sales staff

*Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax filings

*Reporting tax monthly online and inperson for customs office

*Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving improvements

*Work with management to prepare budgets and forecasts

Requirements:

*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

*2+ years Proven experience as an accountant in car sales shop (automotive or retail experience is a plus)

*Must have experience on how to calculate cost of imported cars and profit margin

*Strong knowledge of accounting software

*Good understanding of financial regulations and tax laws

*High attention to detail and accuracy

*Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

2+ years Experience in car dealership or inventory-based business

Knowledge of financing and loan documentation

*Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights

Working Conditions:

*Full-time position

*Based at the car sales shop office(Bole Atlas)

*May require occasional overtime during reporting periods
