Education & Background
Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Business, or any related field.

Minimum 1 year of hands-on sales experience in the solar PV, energy, or related technical industry.
Experience in B2B sales, distributor management, or project-based sales is an advantage.

Technical Professional Skills
Solid understanding of solar PV modules, inverters, energy storage systems, and general solar system design principles.
Ability to interpret basic technical drawings, system configurations, and performance data.
Capable of preparing technical proposals, system recommendations, and solution presentations for clients.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify customer needs and propose suitable products/solutions.

Sales & Communication Skills
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing customer pipelines.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with distributors, EPC contractors, installers, and key accounts.
Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.

Language & Work Environment
English proficiency is required for daily communication, documentation, and customer engagement.
Local language ability is a plus.
Based in Ethiopia, with flexibility to travel domestically for customer visits, exhibitions, and site assessments.

Key Responsibilities

Promote companies solar products and solutions in Ethiopia and support business expansion.
Conduct sales visits, technical consultations, and on-site assessments.
Prepare commercial offers, technical proposals, and tender documents.
Collect market intelligence, competitor information, and customer feedback.
Coordinate with the technical team and headquarters for project support and order fulfillment.
Manage post-sales communication and ensure customer satisfaction.
Represent the company in local exhibitions, seminars, and partner events.
