On behalf of our client, Repi-Wilmar, we are looking for a qualified and experienced candidate for the following position:
Position: Procurement Head – Non-Production Items (NPI) / Indirect Procurement
Location: Addis Ababa
Number of Positions: One (1)

Job Summary:
The Procurement Head – NPI will lead and manage the sourcing and procurement of non-production items/ indirect materials essential to business operations. These include office supplies, services, marketing materials, facility management, and other operational expenditures that support day-to-day business functions. The role ensures cost efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery while maintaining high service quality across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, source, and procure non-production goods and services (office supplies, utilities, marketing, service contracts, etc.) in line with company requirements and budgets.
Lead supplier selection, evaluation, and contract negotiation to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Work closely with finance, administration, HR, and other functions to forecast and manage indirect procurement needs.
Oversee and manage service contracts, ensuring compliance with company standards and legal obligations.
Monitor vendor performance and maintain long-term, value-driven relationships.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
Prepare and manage procurement budgets, reports, and periodic performance reviews.
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
Education: BA Degree or higher in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a senior or managerial role overseeing indirect or non-production procurement, preferably in an FMCG or large-scale manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
Excellent communication, reporting, and ERP system proficiency.
