Main Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cupping Therapist to deliver high-quality, personalised cupping (Hijama) treatments to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing client needs, planning effective therapy sessions, and supporting overall well-being through holistic care.

Perform a range of cupping techniques including dry, wet (hijama), fire, and silicone/vacuum cupping
Conduct thorough client consultations to understand medical history, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals
Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
Apply knowledge of anatomy, meridians, and trigger points to deliver effective therapy
Combine cupping with complementary techniques such as massage, acupressure, or gua sha when appropriate
Maintain strict hygiene, sterilisation, and infection control standards at all times
Provide clear aftercare guidance, particularly following wet cupping sessions
Keep accurate and confidential client records in line with GDPR requirements
Recognise contraindications and refer clients to medical professionals when necessary
Manage bookings, payments, and treatment schedules efficiently
Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat visits and referrals
Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional treatment environment

Required Skills

Certified training in cupping therapy from a recognised institution
Proven experience as a Cupping Therapist or in a related holistic discipline
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal systems
Proficiency in dry, wet (hijama), fire, and silicone cupping techniques
Excellent understanding of hygiene, sterilisation, and wound care protocols
Valid First Aid and CPR certification
Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
Empathetic, professional, and calming demeanour
Ability to assess clients and tailor treatments accordingly
Time management, punctuality, and organisational skills
Awareness of relevant insurance, licensing, and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Background in massage therapy, physiotherapy, acupuncture, or traditional medicine
Knowledge of additional holistic therapies such as reflexology or aromatherapy
Familiarity with booking and client management software
Multilingual abilities to support a diverse clientele
Marketing or social media skills to help promote services
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continued training
