About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Network Technician with a strong background in electrical engineering principles and hands-on experience in physical network infrastructure. You will be responsible for the installation, termination, testing, and maintenance of structured cabling systems in commercial and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Cable Pulling & Routing: Pull, route, and secure CAT6/6A/7, fiber optic, and low-voltage copper cables through ceilings, walls, conduits, and cable trays following TIA/EIA standards.
Termination & Testing: Terminate RJ45 jacks, patch panels, and fiber connectors (SC, LC, ST). Test and certify cable runs using Fluke or similar testers (wiremap, length, insertion loss, NEXT).
Infrastructure Support: Install cable supports (J-hooks, D-rings, ladder rack), surface mount boxes, faceplates, and grounding systems.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faulty cabling, cross-connect issues, and signal degradation.
Documentation: Label all cables, update as-built drawings, and maintain cable records (termination logs, test results).
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to NEC, local building codes, and OSHA safety standards (ladder use, PPE, fire-stopping).

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in network cable pulling, termination, and related low-voltage work.
