Our construction company is looking for a skilled Accountant who can manage daily financial activities and support our projects. The ideal candidate must be able to code and upload invoices/receipts on Peachtree and type Amharic fluently.

Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions, materials, labor & site expenses

• Prepare monthly financial reports (Balance Sheet, P/L, Cash Flow)

• Code & upload invoices, receipts & payroll in Peastry

• Manage accounts payable & receivable

• Reconcile bank statements & petty cash

• Prepare payroll for site workers & office staff

• Handle VAT, WHT & tax submissions

• Organize financial files, contracts & vouchers

• Draft letters and reports in Amharic & English

Requirements

• 3+ year experience in accounting (construction experience is a plus)

• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax rules

• Amharic typing skills (required)

• Experience using Peachtree

• Good Excel skills

• Attention to detail, honesty & strong organization

• Ability to work independently
