About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer to oversee and manage the Hollow Concrete Block (HCB) and internal/external plastering works for a mixed-use high-rise project. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in high-rise construction supervision, excellent knowledge of construction quality standards, and the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and the site team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and inspect all HCB and plastering activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

· Monitor contractor progress and workmanship; ensure timely completion of assigned scope.

· Review method statements, material submissions, and ensure proper application on site.

· Coordinate with the structural and architectural teams for interface-related works.

· Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained on site.

· Maintain daily site reports, issue site instructions as required, and attend progress meetings.

· Identify and report any potential construction issues or deviations from the project plan.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

· Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in high-rise building supervision.

· Proven experience in managing blockwork (HCB) and plastering works on multistory structures.

· Strong understanding of construction drawings, building codes, and material specifications.

· Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

· Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations on construction sites.
